Real Experience

I have an MA in Creative Writing and over 20 years’ experience of content creation, blog writing, copy editing and social media posting. I write high-quality and well-researched copy for my clients, incorporating keywords and search terms to help improve SEO rankings and engage with potential consumers.

 

Real Expertise

My career started as an Account Executive for Cadbury Trebor Basset, where I supported seven marketing managers, learnt a LOT and ate far too much chocolate.

I then moved to agency work, taking on Jaguar Cars as my sole client. Working as their National Events Manager, thinking on my feet in order to deliver excellent customer experiences became my forte.

My next role was as Office Manager and Coordinator for a not-for-profit organisation, delivering services to Children in Care. I gained a huge amount of job satisfaction from my role at Reconstruct.

After this I gained further experience as a Project Manager for a marketing agency, as a Programme Support Manager for an HR company and as a Marketing Manager for an entrepreneurial start-up. Eventually, all the experienced gained in these roles lead me to be a specialist in content creation and copy editing.

 

Real Life

I am fortunate enough to live in beautiful rural Devon, surrounded by hills as far as the eye can see. Dartmoor National Park is a short drive away, where I love to walk my cocker spaniel, BeeBee. I’m also a member of the Game Changers, an intensive personal training programme at my local gym.

On the weekends I enjoy walking the South West Coast Path, raising funds for Dorothy House Hospice. My challenge is to walk all 630 miles of the coastal path, from Minehead in Somerset to Poole in Dorset, including the whole of both Devon and Cornwall’s rugged coastline.
