Are You Measuring Your Marketing
A big benefit of marketing going digital and online is that these forms of marketing are eminently measurable. Many aspects of the marketing mix can be monitored, analysed and reported, often in great detail.
At Calibre, we have developed a standard marketing metrics report, in the form of a spreadsheet that allows us to report our performance for clients on a monthly basis. Some of the metrics that we measure and review include:
- Website Visitor Sources: Organic / Paid / Direct / Socials / Referrals
- Website Activities: Page Views / Time on Site / Enquires / Etc. with MAT’s
- PPC Campaign: Visitors / Cost Per Click / Conversions / Cost per Conversion
- Social Media: Impressions / Followers / Likes / Shares / Comments / Etc
- Database: Additions and Deletions / Engagement / CRM Updates
- Electronic Newsletters: Sends / Opens / Clicks to Website / Etc
Whilst we measure monthly, giving the Calibre crew an insight into what is working well and what needs improving, we then report and review with our clients on a quarterly or four-monthly basis. The insights really help us to hone our promotional campaigns.
